Jodi, the founder of Baron Events, didn’t just grow up in the wedding industry, she also built a formidable career in the heart of New York City's garment district, working alongside some of the most respected names in fashion. This rare combination of backgrounds has given her a visionary edge in curating weddings and events that are both stunningly styled and flawlessly executed.

While working in the fast-paced world of couture design, Jodi developed an expert eye for fabric, color theory, design, and detail. She wasn’t just behind the scenes, she was invited into design rooms to evaluate fit, critique collections, and influence the final look of garments before they hit runways and showrooms around the country.

 She learned to see beauty in subtleties, understand the rhythm of visual storytelling, and refine every element until it was perfect.

This level of refinement now lives at the heart of Baron Events. From the drape of a table linen to the flow of a bride’s gown as she walks down the aisle, Jodi brings the same discerning vision she once used to the overall atmosphere of a wedding. She understands how movement, light, and material come together to create

More importantly, she blends this creative artistry with her deep-rooted hospitality values. Her fashion experience doesn’t replace the warmth and functionality of hosting...it enhances it. ...is born of tradition, artistry, and an unwavering commitment to personal connection. From a young age, Jodi Baron discovered the magic in crafting unforgettable moments—long before she formally entered the world of event planning.  

 At just 16, she began her journey in her parents’ catering hall as a bridal attendant—fluffing gowns, calming nerves, and anticipating every need for the bride and her attendants. Each evening at home, family dinners became more than just meals—they were business briefings, client‑care workshops, and brainstorming sessions on how to make each wedding day extraordinary and stress‑free.

 Her father’s belief in the human side of hospitality, serving people wholeheartedly, not just running a business as he was simultaneously devoted to his teaching career in a public school in a low-income neighborhood, where he worked tirelessly to uplift and inspire students facing significant challenges. Not only did she pick up on unique financial problem solving skills through the years but such dedication inspired her own values and was the foundation of Baron Events from the beginning.
